Mit ihm wird das klare Konzept der Camper-Ikone in die n\u00e4chst h\u00f6here Klasse transferiert. <!--more-->Der <strong>Grand California basiert auf dem Crafter<\/strong>. Deshalb ist er l\u00e4nger, breiter und h\u00f6her als der bekannte California T6. Das schafft Raum f\u00fcr ein Bad, einen gr\u00f6\u00dferen Schlafbereich im Heck, eine voll ausgestattete K\u00fcche und einen hellen, stilvollen Wohnbereich mit Stehh\u00f6he. Um alle individuellen Anspr\u00fcche an die Freiheit des Reisens zu erf\u00fcllen, wird der Grand California zudem mit zwei verschiedenen Radst\u00e4nden und Dachlayouts sowie optional mit 4MOTION-Allrad- statt Frontantrieb angeboten.<\/p>\n<p>Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge hat den Grand California gezielt auf unterschiedliche Einsatzzwecke, Lebens- und Reisesituationen zugeschnitten. Ideal f\u00fcr Familien: der Grand California 600 \u2013 ein<strong> 6,0-Meter-Camper<\/strong> mit Schlafbereich im Heck und einem ausziehbaren Bett \u00fcber dem Fahrerhaus. Wer zu zweit auf die ganz gro\u00dfe Reise geht, w\u00fcnscht sich mitunter noch mehr Radstand und damit Raum. F\u00fcr all jene Globetrotter wurde der rund 6,8 Meter lange Grand California 680 entwickelt. Er ist <strong>5.986 mm lang, 2.040 mm (ohne Au\u00dfenspiegel) beziehungsweise 2.427mm (mit Au\u00dfenspiegel) breit und je nach Konfiguration zwischen 2.971 und 3.094 mm hoch<\/strong>. Der Radstand betr\u00e4gt 3.640 mm. Innen ergibt sich eine Stehh\u00f6he von 2.180 bis 2.200 mm. Im Heck bietet der Grand California 600 einen Schlafbereich mit quer integriertem Bett (1.930x 1.360 mm). Optional kann diese Version des Campers zudem mit einen Hochbett \u00fcber dem Fahrerhaus und Wohnraum (Halb-Dinette) bestellt werden \u2013 das Lattenrost wird einfach herausgezogen und misst dann 1.600 x 1.220 mm (Beifahrerseite) und 1.900 x 1.220 mm (Fahrerseite). Die Traglast dieses zus\u00e4tzlichen Bettes liegt bei 150 kg.<\/p>\n<h3>Der Grand California 680<\/h3>\n<p>Der Grand California 680 ist 6.836 mm lang und mit einem serienm\u00e4\u00dfigen Crafter-Superhochdach ausgestattet. Zwischen den Achsen spannt sich in diesem Fall ein Radstand von 4.490 mm. W\u00e4hrend die Breite im Vergleich zum Grand California 600 identisch ist, ergibt sich f\u00fcr die H\u00f6he je nach Konfiguration ein Ma\u00df von 2.839 bis 2.967 mm. Die Stehh\u00f6he liegt zwischen 1.970 und 2.030 mm. Sie kann jeweils seitlich hochgeklappt werden. Darunter befindet sich ein 800 Liter gro\u00dfer Stauraum, der durch ein zweiteiliges (herausnehmbares) Schottbrett gesichert wird. Der seitliche Stauraum im Heck des Grand California ist 180 Liter gro\u00df; der Grand California 680 bietet hier einen noch gro\u00dfz\u00fcgigeren Stauraum, da er in Richtung Wohnraum einen zus\u00e4tzlichen Unterschrank sowie einen dachhohen Schrank auf der Fahrerseite an Bord hat.<br \/>\nIm Detail hat der Grand California 600 im Heck vier Schr\u00e4nke. Ein Schrank dient komplett als Stauraum. Zwei Schr\u00e4nke beherbergen die Gasflaschen und den Frischwassertank. Der vierte Schrank ist als Technikschrank ausgef\u00fchrt; hier befinden sich der FI-Schalter, ein Batterie-Trennschalter, die Ablassventile f\u00fcr die Wasserleitung und der Subwoofer des optionalen Soundsystems. Der Grand California 680 ist dar\u00fcber hinaus wie skizziert mit zwei weiteren Schr\u00e4nken f\u00fcr Stauraum ausgestattet.\u2028Der Zugang zu den Heckschr\u00e4nken erfolgt entweder vom Wohnbereich aus oder \u00fcber die Fl\u00fcg<br \/>\nelt\u00fcr im Heck (1.522 x 1.740 mm). Ihre \u00d6ffnung ist so gro\u00df, dass auch Sportger\u00e4te oder Fahrr\u00e4der bequem eingeladen werden k\u00f6nnen.
